Trusted. Leader. For Us.

Education

I want to advance educational opportunities for our children, and particularly in this area, by working to:

  • Increase funding for grades K-12
  • Increase teacher pay
  • Establish the Northshore Technical & Community College in Walker, La.

Transportation

Our district has a long list of infrastructure needs that must be completed to enable our area to grow successfully

  • Develop alternate routes to ease traffic on Interstate 12 and U.S. Highway 190
  • Repair and upgrade bridges to secure safe traffic flow through the region

Economic Development

Our area is a “diamond in the rough”

  • Bring more industry to the district
  • Bring tax reform to the state to support economic growth

Flood Control

I will continue to work with Congressman Garret Graves and national and state leaders to fully fund and complete the Comite Diversion Canal and other major drainage projects in the region
